With over two decades of experience in bands and as a solo artist, Matt has built up a versatile set list. Performing anything from Foo Fighters and Fleetwood Mac, to Thin Lizzy and Queen, his collection of rock and pop classics plus his own original music is exstensive. Whether you need high-energy anthems or relaxed acoustic mood-setters, Matt adapts his set to suit every audience.
Not only does he play stripped back solo acoustic sets, Matt also performs with an electric guitar and a backing track of bass and drums. This offers the energy of a full band with the versatility of a solo artist, bridging the gap between band and solo acoustic performer. In addition to providing a cost effective alternative to hiring a band, it enables fast set up times and uses less floorspace – great for smaller venues who might not be able to accommodate a full band. It also gives complete control over volume levels – perfect for a venue with noise restrictions. Audiences particularly enjoy the variety that’s brought by splitting the performance into two halves, an acoustic set followed by an electric set.
